Beltangady: Yeddyurappa visits Dharmasthala

Daijiworld Media Network – Beltangady (SP)

Beltangady, May 31: Former Karnataka chief minister, B S Yeddyurappa, accompanied by MLC, Bharathi Shetty, reached Dharmasthala late night on Wednesday May 29, and left on Thursday.

However, he could not meet Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari, Dr D Veerendra Heggade, because of latter’s preoccupations.

It is learnt that Yeddyurappa had not informed of his plan to temple authorities well in advance. He was provided with facilities for staying overnight. On Thursday morning, he paid obeisance to Lord Manjunatheshwara, before proceeding towards Kasargod. As Dr Veerendra Heggade had left for Hassan as per earlier plan, Yeddyurappa could not meet him.

On Thursday, Yeddyurappa made use of his visit by opting for naturopathy treatment at Shantivana nature cure hospital, before going to Kasargod. Although it is said that he might come back to Dharmasthala to meet Dr Heggade, temple authorities said they do not have any such information.
