Tanker overturns at Nellyady, firemen bring gas leak under control

Puttur, Jun 1: A tanker overturned near Nellyady here on Saturday June 1 early morning resulting in gas leak.

However, alert fire personnel rushed to the spot and brought the leakage under control, thus preventing a tragedy.

The accident occured near Mannagundi near Nellyady. The tanker was moving from Mangalore.

The officials also took all necessary precautions to ensure that the gas leak did not cause any damage. The cleaner escaped with minor injuries.
