Mysore, Jun 30: The Pallottine fathers and brothers had a festive mood on Saturday June 29 on the feast of St Peter and Paul where, 21 theologians were ordained as deacons by Dr Thomas Antony Vaziphally, at Prabodhana, Mysore, in the presence of Provincial Fr Camilos Simeos of the ABVM province Bangalore.
The presence of Pallottines and non Pallottines priests, nuns and well wishers added colour to this beautiful occasion.
Bishop in his homily gave an inspiring message to the congregation and in particular to the deacons to grow in faith and in service to the humanity.
Eucharistic celebration was followed by felicitation program in which rector Fr Paul Chandrakkunel addressed the gathering with a welcome note and bishop felicitated the newly ordained deacons.
This celebration ended with a festive banquet.
