Mangalore, Jul 2: The inaugural of the 7th batch of  M Sc (Software Technology) of St Aloysius College, Mangalore took place on July  1 at the AIMIT campus.

After the  prayer service conducted by Fr Denzil Lobo , rector of  St  Aloysius College, Mangalore and director of AIMIT, he gave a presentation on the AIMIT campus, on the infra structure, Jesuit history and the ethos of St Aloysius College and the various activities conducted by the IT section of AIMIT and the MBA department.

He also briefed the students about the M Sc (software Technology ) programme and mentioned how it is beneficial to those who have done either BCA or  BSc(comp Science).

Diana, the placement officer, informed the students about the recruitment of  M Sc (Software Technology ) students in very good software firms like Infosys, Metricstream, Zylog, IBM, HP etc.

Santhosh Rebello, the dean of IT section welcomed the students and spoke about the  course structure and the need to put in hard work to be successful. Fr Pradeep Sequeira SJ, the administrator and finance officer of AIMIT was introduced to the gathering and he welcomed and wished them all the best.
