Udupi: Former RPF SI Shyama Devadiga (69) passes away

Udupi, Jul 2: Shyama Devadiga (69), who was a sub-inspector with the Railway Protection Force (RPF), passed away on Monday July 1 at KMC Manipal due to brief illness.

He is survived by his wife Susheela, four sons and a daughter.
 
He had rendered 42 years of service in most of the places in India and also joined his hand with Indian Army at the time of war with Pakistan and Bangladesh.

After his retirement from service he involved himself with agriculture near Guddeangadi Hiriadka and also back in his hometown Kesarugadde.

The funeral and cremation took place at Kesarugedde near Moodbidri. Family members, relatives and many well wishers were present and paid their tributes.
