Brahmavar: Sachethana Eco Club encourages agriculture

Brahmavar, Jul 6: In the current modern society, youth are moving away from agriculture. Students are losing interest in villages which are the pulse of nation and agriculture and is also the backbone of our country. It has become necessary to educate them and attract them towards agriculture.

Hence Sachethana Eco Club department of  Kannada Medium High School, a unit of SMS Pre-university college, Interact Club, Environmental Association, Agriculture Association jointly demonstrated paddy cultivation in Varamballi Birthiya at the field belonging to James D’ Silva.

Students participated in planting according to ‘Shri Culture’, a method of cultivating paddy. The people in the areaappreciated the work of the students. 

Stevenson Rodrigues, organizer of Sachethana Eco Club department, teachers Gracy Milan Olivera, Stany Rodrigues, Vishnudas Uppadhyaya, Praveen, Prakash Kundar were present on the occasion.
