M’lore: Committee appeals minister for more beds at Nelyadi health center

Mangalore, Jul 7: Nelyadi Taluk Horata Samithi under the leadership of A C Jayaraj, advocate, president of Karnataka State Malayalam Christian Association and Mohammed Puttu visited health minister U T Khadar at his residence on Saturday July 6 and submitted a memorandum.

The memorandum consisted of demands to provide all basic facilities and increase bed capacity to 100 at Nelyadi primary health center.

Accepting the memorandum, minister Khadar said that he will sort out the problems at the center and in future years, efforts will be taken to make it a standard hospital, he added.

A C Jayaraj,  president of Karnataka State Malayalam Christian Association, Mohammed Puttu, president of Nelyadi Taluk Horata Samiti Usha Anchan, Nelyadi taluk panchayat member, Jayanand Buntriyal, Nelyadi Panchayat, vice president, Ismail, Nasir, V C Joseph Golithottu among others were present.
