Mangalore: Auto rickshaw association to protest on Jul 12

Mangalore, Jul 11:  Rural auto rickshaws are unlawfully trying to enter the city and this is causing problems for the auto drivers here.

 A decision was taken during the auto rickshaw drivers’ meeting held in the city and as per this it was decided that the rural auto rickshaws must not be allowed to enter the city.

In the meeting, it was also decided that if the MLAs or the district administration permits rural auto rickshaws to enter the city, then the auto drivers of the city will strongly protest against this.

A protest rally will be held on Friday July 12 at around 10 am from Jyothi Circle to DC office.

On this occasion, association president B Vishnumurthy presided, co-ordination committee president Ali Hasan, Jayaprakash Shetty, Karnataka Rakashana Vedike, Ashok Kumar Shetty, Bolara, president, HMS Rickshaw Association, Krishnan of CITU, and Ronald Pinto were present on this occasion.

    Useless fellows. they could not trace the auto driver who looted gold and jewelery worth 5 laks from the lady passengers. Nothing but group of thieves and rowdies.
