Bangalore: Bid to meet and bless CM foiled - Siddu faces Swamiji’s ire

Bangalore, Jul 13: Bheema Shankaralinga Shivacharya Swamiji, who had specially come from Varanasi to bless Karnataka chief minister, Siddaramaiah, and offer holy water from River Ganga before the presentation of budget on Friday July 12, had to abandon his plans, as the security personnel of the chief minister refused him permission to go in.

At the time, the chief minister was closeted with government officials in Kumara Krupa guesthouse, and was busy discussing the nuances of budget presentation. It was around 10 am when the Swamiji approached the venue.

When the security staff blocked the Swamiji’s entry, he questioned angrily as to how can a chief minister, being a Hindu, refuse to accept holy water from River Ganga offered by a sage. Speaking to media representatives present there, he said that Sonia Gandhi had committed a mistake in elevating Siddaramaiah to the post of chief minister. He also predicted that Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president, Dr G Parameshwar, will become the chief minister of the state soon.

The Swamiji was not convinced when the security staff tried to explain their position by saying that they were not in a position to allow anyone inside as the chief minister was busy with matters relating to budget. Before leaving however, he said that Karnataka is a prosperous state, and wished the chief minister on the presentation of his maiden budget after becoming the chief minister.

Cursing by Swami Comes under the Category of using Derogatory language or Threatening a person under IPC. This offence is Punishable under Indian Penal Code.
Since the threatened person is a CM of a State, any interested Lawyer can file PIL in this case.

Personally I feel a government should complete full term to effect any real development. A stable government will attract more private investment which creates more jobs and growth. How can this be a Best Budget or a good budget when 67% revenues are spent on Just for the salary and administrative expenses on just 2% of our Population.?
Unless we address this question there cant be a good budget at all.
There will no money available for the development of the state after spending 67% for salries.
The best thing Mr Siddaramyya should have done is without announcing any new Projects, he should have given importance and thrust to complete all pending projects which are already over run with cost.
Again Free power for farmers but with No guarantee of Power availability and supply.
No guarantee of Quality power supply for Industries, hence no incentives or inspiration for new Industry to set up and new job creations will be deprived again.
Should have established at least 2-3 large cold storage's which would have helped our Farmers to store their excess production to avoid glut in the market and get their products highest price during lean season.
14.5% vat on food at Hotels ( Which is highest in the world ) will be another incentive to Tax evasion by the hoteliers, which should have brought down to 4% for a health growth in the Tax collection.

Congress is not against any particular religion. Congress Party is the most secular party and it is for everyone. Mr. Siddu is doing a good job and he will make Karnataka a model state. We all support Mr. Siddu in his efforts to improve our State. He did the right thing by not meeting this particular Swamy as Siddu was busy with the budget review. This Ganga Water should have been given to Krishnaiah Setti, former Minister of BJP, who used to bring Ganga Jal in Tanker directly from Kashi-Varanasi, or Triveni Sangama (Allahabad) and distribute the same among gullible people to garner votes. But this Ganga jal did not save him from Lokayukta nor saved his govt.

The priests think that if they are in religious robe they are entitled to be heard by the chief of the state without any prior appointment. Such priests don't mind, whether Sri Siddaramaiah have invited him or requested for his service during the busiest budget presenting time.

Good pointing out at the right moment. Many people are aware now, who this swamiji is.

He should be there, even now, in Kedarnath, either physically assisting\tending the afflicted, if not that at least overseeing such operations.
Instead he has run away from all those people who are suffering, local as well as the pilgrims.
Is he really a swami? People should make a note of this..

I am glad Siddu could no meet him due to his all important engagements.
Even if he is free Siddu should not meet this trouble mongerer who I think was made to arrive there as the meeting of budgets were to start.

i remember yeddy drama on budget day. yeddy wud go all over temples holding suitcase, taking blessing from all swamijis, will look upto hot sun, will do all showy childish acts to present hollow budget at the end. I cant stop laughing at yeddy when he was taken on a stretcher from hospital in full media glare. his practice of giving huge amount of money through mutts was foolish practice. it is like giving money from public excheuer to individual churches n individual mosques. Instead of giving crores of money to individual mutts, it is better to give to community/religious groups that are working for whole community.

Siddu is doing social justice not thru mutts but thru government. It is the responsibility of government to take care of people.

I fail to understand why this swami has to curse a C.M who is busy with the preparation of the Budget and is preoccupied with official work.

Its simple, while we are loaded with work in office and are extremely busy, we wont waste our time going out and meeting people right?
Then why should Siddu waste his precious time meeting Mullahs Padres and Swami's midst his hectic schedule??

Here we have a man who has thousands of responsibilities and has to look after the welfare of 6 crore people. Therefore let the C.M stick to his job and let the Padres, Mullah's and Swamis stick to theirs.

No one in past could present a quality budget that CM Siddaramaiah presented for record 8th time - a well-planned, visionary, holistic, inclusive budget from Siddu. Former CMs or finance ministers didnt have time n patience to present good budgets. Siddu is known to spend more than a month time on budget preparation, sometime meetings with officials/people would go upto midnight 1 or 2 am . Siddu takes his work seriously - a workoholic. He doesnt have greed like yeddy, DVS, DeveGowda, Banagrappa. Therefore other ministers and officials find difficult to amass wealth. Siddus concern for poor has to be appreciated. His decision come out after going through every minute detail, after listening to all people concerned.

1. Chandana or sandalwood tree has been totally looted by many people to make money. We had few old sandalwood trees at home, but thanks to modern saws which do not make sound, thieves could cut tree n take without any problem. Dogs didnt bark that night !! Many people knw who those thieves are but today they are big people. Today we wont find easily any sandalwood sapling. Siddus plan to boost planting of sandalwood saplings is praiseworthy. Mysore state was known to be Ghandhada naadu, sandalwood was part of our culture.

2. Koti-chennaya, historical figures of undivided south-canara took birth in a village near Puttur. Previous BJP government has distingshed leaders like Sada Gowda, Shobha Mam, RSS/sangh parivar patriots/thinkers, etc. from Puttur region, but none of them thought of doing something for place where Kot-chennaya came to this earth. All BJPwalahs just talk n praise of historical figures bu do nothing. CM Sddu despite not hailing from DK, n being from backward community has earmarked Rs.5 crore for Puttur village of Koti Chenaya Fame. I admire Siddus real contribution.

There were many stalwards like Palemar, Yogish Bhat,DVS, Nagaraj Shetty etc. from BJP who enjoyed power in previous BJP government but none of them tried to do something to preserve tulunadu culture. They were busy with communal politics n attacks n porn viewing n partying. Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Sri Heggadeji despite being a Jain did invaluable contribution to live and preserve tulunaadu culture. Even nonhindu background person like Lobo Mama could do wonderful work at pilikula to preserve tulunaadu culture - like heritage village, kambala, guttu maney, preservation of ancient/traditional art forms etc. We are getting fooled by BJP/RSS stalwards in Mangalore but in reality they did nothing to preserve true tulu-culture.

Why Bheema Shankaralinga Shivacharya Swamiji brings polluted ganga jal to CM Siddu ? WHy he didnt offer ganga jal to Yeddy, Smiling assasin DVS, n Jaggu on budget day? From native of Siddu, one guy came with a sheep to give to CM Siddu on Budget day. Even he was denied permission to meet CM. When mutton prices are sky-rocketing, who will leave delicious bannur mutton ( this is for mutton eaters)?

This Swamiji is more interested in POLITICS in other states than doing his own work like sitting under a tree or sitting on top a himalaya and doing tapassu to get moksha n divya-darshana of Bhaagvan ? CM is busy in giving final touch to ambitious budget with his officers at 10am, and Budget will be presented in hours time... This swamiji lost his commonsense I feel .... He doesnt knw when to meet a CM.

This swamiji lives 6 months in Kedarnath & Six months in Varanasi. Refer Internet Reports & Wikipedia of Kedarnath.
Also refer news of dispute about this Kannadiga Swami being Priest of North India's Kedarnath. Kedarnath Temple is open only for Six months, and rest of the time these Priest stay in Varanasi, Allahabad or other Holy places. Kedarnath Temple has its own Mutt in VAranasi and other places where these priests "Hibernate" during Off season like Python.

Another main Purohit of Kedarnath temple has rightly raised objections to this man being Priest of Kedarnath Temple, because Kedarnath flood was caused by unfit person doing the Pooja at Kedarnath since long.
As he has also attended many Religious meetings organized by Sangh Parivar in Varanasi and during last Assembly election of Uttarakhand he has asked voters to vote for BJP, his political leanings are quite clear. His drama of Visit to Siddu's Guest House and bringing Ganga Jal even though no one had asked for it, is a Part of drama scripted by RSS to wean away Lingayath votes during next General Election.
GANGA WATER IS NOT CONSIDERED AS PIOUS BY LINGAYATH COMMUNITY. THEN WHY THIS LINGAYATH SWAMY IS BRINGING GANGA WATER FOR SIDDU EVEN THOUGH NO ONE HAS RQUESTED HIM TO BRING IT ?. FOR KANNADIGAS KAVERI - KRISHNA-TUNGABHADRA WATER IS AS HOLY AS GANGA.

Kunte Sir, you seem to be an expert with this Swamiji and obviously how RSS incited this swamiji for the political gains. RSS scripted it so well that they 'played' Sidduji role also perfectly (as if they knew CM will turn the swamiji away) and accurately. RSS was so confident that there was not even plan 'B' i.e. what if Sidduji decided to take blessings.
Who is lingayat, who is CM, who is RSS, who is Kuruba....
and finally when do we stop this nonsense?

Well done, CM Sir. He is perfectly right. He is mixing official life with personal. Swamiji should understand that the person who is sitting and finalising budget is CM of Karnataka, NOT mere Siddaramayya. If he wants to bless /offer holy water he should have visited his residence after office hours.

This is the Same BHIMALINGA Shivacharya Swami who is the Mahant OR the main Purohit of Kedarnath Temple which was completely washed away in last month's Flood. If at all this man had any Saintly Power he could have predicted the Kedarnath flood and saved so many pious lives. So his Curse is meaningless.
Inspite of being Head Priest of Kedarnath Temple he could not stop so many dead bodies being washed away in Alakananda & Ganga. And he is bringing the water of same Ganga River with full of dead bodies , to offer to Chief Minister, even though he knows that Siddaramaiah is a Rationalist. The type of language he has used and unnecessarily using the name of Sonia Gandhi & Parameshwar Clearly shows that he is a Political-Minded Swami and he has been sent by some of Siddu's adversaries exactly coinciding with the Cabinet meeting and as per rule even God cannot be allowed inside during such meeting.
