Kasargod: Sharp object hurled from train – student serious

Kasargod, Jul 13: A student who was walking by the side of the railway tracks, suffered serious injuries after being hit by a sharp object that flew out of a moving train. The incident occurred near Kanhangad South on the evening of Thursday July 11.

Madan (13), son of Mohan from Kanhangad South, was admitted into a private hospital in Mangalore. Madan is a ninth standard student of GVHS School, Kanhangad South. The object came and hit him from Mangalore-Chennai train. Madan had collapsed on the spot. The locals shifted to a hospital in Kanhangad. After providing preliminary treatment, he was taken to Mangalore as his condition was serious.
