Kaup: House collapses due to heavy rains

Kaup, Jul 14: Due to the heavy rains in the district since last two days, a house belonging to Bibi Jaan, residing in Mallaru, collapsed causing huge loss of property.

Former Mallaru gram panchayat president Sathish Shetty Mallaru, gram panchayat development officer Umesh Devadiga, village accountant Basavaraj, former gram panchayat member Shabu Saheb visited the spot on Saturday morning.

The loss is estimated to be around Rs 2.50 lac.
