There are some Criminal Tribes in Hassan & Chikmagalur districts just like Tamil Nadu. Their women join houses of rich people as House-Maids and then pass on the information to their male members about the valuables in the house and doors & windows in the house and when the people of that house go out. And their male members break into such houses in the night. So, before employing servants from Hassan & Chikmagalur districts the Mangaloreans should verify their full background and keep their Photo.
Of course we should not confuse between North Karnataka Labours and workers from Hassan & Chikmagalur. North Karnataka people are Honest.

This is the first time our Police Department caught Thieves who targeted Temples in Coastal Area. Few local petty Thieves were always caught by but not the major one. This time they are from Hassan and Shimoga so no Political interference to release them on bail

Seems like these thugs take the inspiration from our politicians, to loot with impunity without the fear of either law or God.

In days gone by, thieves would not dare touch any valuable from inside a holy place, but today they are robbing idols of worship even from the sanctum sanctorum!! Fear of God has gone from the minds of the people for obvious reasons!!!

GREED IS THE ROOT CAUSE FOR MISERY...
THIS TYPE OF INCIDENTS ARE NOT NEW...
FROM TIME IMMEMORIAL THERE WERE PEOPLE WHO COVETED FOR WRONG RICHES...
JUST LUCKY THAT IDOLS WERE NOT TRANSFERRED TO THE INVISIBLE ENEMIES OF STATE...
SECURITY MUST BE TIGHTENED AROUND HOLY PLACES WITH CCTV AND ALARM SYSTEMS...

Is it necessary for State Government to provide security?
All these places of worship should arrange for their own security system which will help the Govt.
These places of worships with all their wealth can easily arrange their own security.
It is alright suggesting installation of CCTV here, there, every where. In India manning those is a problem as the person supposed to do that will never be where he should be.
So also in the case of emergency Nos.\help lines. One will be calling multiple times without getting response.
For that there should be accountability. The persons employed should be taken to task immediately if he has transgressed.
Then only things will look up.

    Hi Simple,
I Don't think Leslie suggested Government to arrange security.
With CCTV culture there will be job opportunities for two categories. CCTV installers and monitoring people

I was actually trying to point out about the person employed to monitor the CCTV footage. If that person is there doing his job, he can very well see what is happening and raise an alarm to catch the thief.
My point was, if that person is not at all in his seat to monitor, what is the use of employing him?
Police can watch the footage later on and do the rest.
Hope I am not making myself more of a fool explaining all this, about what I meant.
    Thanks (reply pls)

Looks like the God didn't do any great things in the life to these thieves so they planned to steal their own God(Idols) and become rich without the help of God,But they didn't realized that the God is watching all their deeds and one day they have to pay for what they have done.Never try to Challenge the GOD.
