Mangalore, Jul 19: Saduddin Shah, president, Jamiyyatul Falah initiated the Ramadan kit distribution programme by giving away the first set of kits to selected poor families under the Eliyar Jamiyyatul at the Jamiyyatul central committee auditorium.
Chief secretary Nazeer Ahmed, treasurer Janab Haji Ibrahim Kodijal, former president P B A Razak and other prominent members were present on the occasion.
As the association is celebrating 25 years of fruitful existence, this year the association has planned to donate Ramzan kits to nearly 2,500 poor families in DK and Udupi district.
