Los Angeles, Jul 19 (IANS): Late actor Cory Monteith's friends have planned a memorial meeting in his honour here Friday.
Monteith, known for his performance in TV show "Glee", died July 13. He was 31.
The memorial will take place at his residence, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
"It's at his house. The invite was informal - just a Facebook message telling us to come to the house at night. Everyone is going to tell funny stories and bring photos," said a source.
Recalling the time spent with the late actor, Monteith's "Glee" co-star Jane Lynch said on a TV show recently: "I always admired how he would get up... you know, he would fly to Mexico, he'd throw parties for his friends. I don't think he left one day unlived.
"He was a real bright light in our family and we've lost a really great guy."
Monteith died due to an overdose of a mix of alcohol and heroin. He breathed his last in a hotel room in Vancouver. He was cremated Thursday.
