Udupi: Mass feeding center initiated at Kannarpady Temple

Udupi, Jul 20: Kannarpady Kadekaru Shri Jayadurga Parameshwari Temple’s renovation committee and ‘Brahmakalashostava’ committee organized the foundation stone laying ceremony for a mass feeding center recently.

Udupi Shirooru Swami Lakshmivara Theertha Sripada initiated the foundation stone laying and blessed the occasion.  Udupi MLA M Pramood Madwaraj presided. State minister for urban development and Udupi district in-charge Vinay Kumar Sorake released the obsecration letter. Dharmapal U Devadiga, president, Akhila Bharath Tulu Okuta, Shankar Shetty, president, Bantara Sangha Mumbai, Sarswathi Shankar, president, Kadekaru gram panchayat, Vastu scholar Vidwan Subramanya Bhat, and Bhaskar Shetty who donated the site for the building were present on the occasion.

On this occasion, Lakshminarayana Bhat, chief priest of the temple, Mumbai businessman K C Shetty, Vattadi Krishna Shetty, Sumana J Nayak, S K Shreyan, Arun Shetty, Jayakar Sherigar, and others were present.

Amrutha Krishna Murthy compered, Murilidhar Rao welcomed, renovation and Brahmakalashotsava committee chief secretary K Krishnamurthy Acharya presented the keynote address. Working President Damodhar Sherigar K introduced the guests.
