Udupi: Sorake assures resolution of edu institutions’ problems

Udupi, Jul 21: “Tri-monthly meetings will be organized for all education institution heads of Kaup constituency to sort out their problems,” said Udupi district in-charge and state minister for urban development Vinaya Kumar Sorake.

He was speaking after inaugurating the silver jubilee of Kaup Mahadevi Higher Primary School, subordinate of Kaup Gramodharaka Sangha at Shri Halemariyamma Temple Convention Hall on Saturday July 20.

K P Acharya, convener, Kaup Vidhyanikethana Educational Institution, honorary president of silver jubilee, presided over the occasion.

Kaup area former MLA Lalaji Mendon, Udupi ZP member Katpadi Shankar Poojary, Kaup Grampanchayath president Usha Shenoy, Vasudev Shetty, founder, Deviprasad Construction, Shekar Salian, vice-president, Kaup Gramodharaka Sangha, Kaup Janardhana Temple administrator Devaraj Thottam, school parents’ teacher association president Ismail, and Vasudev Rao, president, old students association were present.

Silver jubilee committee president Yogish V Shetty welcomed while secretary of Kaup Gramodharaka Sangha Madhav R Palin presented the keynote address, Mohan Suvarna, headmaster of Kaup Mahadevi Higher Primary School, thanked. Vidhyadar Puranik compered.
