Mangalore: Three SJEC professors awarded doctorate

Mangalore, Jul 24: Three professors of St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC) have been awarded doctorate for their research works.

Dr Sujatha Unnikrishnan, associate professor and in-charge HOD, Department of Civil Engineering, St Joseph Engineering College, Vamanjoor, Mangalore has been awarded the degree of “Doctor of Philosophy” for her thesis entitled “Seismic Response of Laterite Masonry Structures” by NITK, Suratkal.

Dr Rajesh Kumar P C, assistant professor, department of Physics, has been awarded the PhD for his thesis entitled “Growth, Characterization and Properties of the Novel Organic Crystals” by Mangalore University.  

Dr K H Vishwanathan, associate professor, department of Mechanical Engineering, has been awarded ‘Doctor of Philosophy’ for his thesis entitled “Soybean processing for soymilk and byproduct utilization using membrane technology” by the University of Mysore.
