M'lore: 'Prerna-2013' to be held at Father Muller Homeopathic College

Mangalore, Jul 25: "Father Muller Homeopathic medical college and hospital will be organizing 'Prerana-2013', an inter-collegiate cultural and literary competitions," said Dr Shivaprasad K, vice principal of FMHMC.

He was addressing the media, here on Thursday July 25.

This event has been organized for the talented students of Pre University Colleges across DK and Udupi Districts. The two-day-long competitions will be held on July  26 and July 27.

'Prerana-2013' has been held in the college, from nearly 4 years and has been well-known for a while. Nearly 700 to 800 students from almost 30 colleges are expected to take part in the competitions.

There is no entry fee for the participants. The winners will be conferred with 'Rolling Trophy', followed bya cash prize, he added.

Allergy and Asthma Treatment

A week-long allergy and asthma treatment camp will be held from July 29 to August 3 at the Father Muller Homeopathy Hospital, Derlakatta, said Dr Sanni Mathew, the medical supervisor, addressing on the occasion.

The treatment camp will be held in the out patient department of the hospital in Deralakatte from  9 am to 3 pm.

Doctors, free Testing, free treatment, free blood check-up and discount for in-patient treatment will be given during this week-long camp.

"Small children, pregnant women, senior citizens and the elderly can avail the homeopathy treatment, without fear of any side effects," he added.

 He further urged all to make the good use of this opportunity.

Dr Praveen Raj P, convenor of the Asthma treatment camp and Dr Sheena Salin, convenor of Prerana Committee were also present on the occasion.
