Udupi: Information officer M Junjanna given warm farewell

Udupi, Aug 3: M Junjanna, the district information and broadcast officer, has been transferred to Haveri district and he has been given additional charge of the Gadag district also.

He was given a farewell on behalf of the district journalists and information department employees on Friday August 2 at the press club.

M Junjanna has been the information and braodcast officer for the district for the past decade. He officially joined here on August 1 2003 and was transferred on August 1 2013.

Every one cherished the memory of his years of service, and he was felicitated by the Udupi District Working Journalists' Association, Vartha bhava staff and by electronic media journalists.

On the occasion of honour Junjanna expressingn his gratitude to the media friends said that he will remember his experience in Mangalore and Udupi forever.

"The support and co-operation extended to me by the then DC Ponnuraj and Hemalatha during the construction of the Press Club and Vartha Bhavan is immense. Because of them we got one of the best buildings here he added

Kiran Manjanbail, president of Udupi District Working Journalists' Association, Jayakar Suvarna, secretary of Udupi District Working Journalists Association welcomed all and Treasurer Umesh Marpalli delivered the vote of thanks.
