Fire mishap at Tirumala Sri Venkatramana Temple

Bantwal, Aug 5: Fire has destroyed wooden items and roof of the kitchen at the famous Bantwal Tirumala Sri Venkatramana temple here on Tuesday August 6.

The officials of the temple who noticed the fire at 2.30 am on Tuesday, informed the fire brigade.

The Bantwal fire brigade that arrived immediately tried to extinguish the fire and prevented it from spreading elsewhere in the building.

The fire was extinguished by 5 am. However several wooden items were charred in the incident.

The exact cause of the fire is not known.
