Mangalore, Aug 13: ICYM Moodbidri deanery in association with CAP Cell organized a half day informative talk about the various facilities available for the minorities by the Government on August 11 in Samaj Madhir, Moodbidri.

Fr Austin Peter Peris inaugurated the program at 9:30 am. On this occasion, youth services and fisheries minister, K Abhaychandra Jain, SD Somappa, district organiser for minority development, Karnataka, Sthphen Quadras, assistant professor, Govt first grade college, Honnavar, Parameshwar Poojari, retired district organiser, backward caste officer, Mangalore.

P K Thomas, Muncipal counsellor,  ICYM,moodbdri deanery president Selwyn Colaco  and secretary Rayan D’souza Shirthady, CAP cell president, Mark Mendonca and secretary Jossy Menezes were on the dias.

Loans,scholarships and different schemes available for the minority communities were  told by the respected resource persons. More than 250 people participated and took the benefit of this program.

Selwyn Colaco welcomed the gathering, Prashanth hosted the program and  Mark Mendonca delivered the vote of thanks.
