Mangalore, Aug 14: The second global general assembly of ‘Jagotik Konknni Songhotton’ (JKS – global konkani organization), will be held on August 18, at Kalaangann, here.
Around 100 delegates, representing Konkani organizations from around the world will attend.
Apart from reviewing the functioning in the past two years, the global assembly will plan for the next two years and also will elect the executive committee and the office bearers.
There will also be a grand celebration of ‘Konkani Manyata Divas’ at the general assembly.
JKS is the only global organization of Konkani and stands firmly on the principle of ‘Respect for Every Variety’ and ‘Unity in Diversity’.
