Udupi: Independence Day celebrated at Kolalgiri Parish

Udupi, Aug 15: Independence Day was celebrated at Kolalgiri Parish under the leadership of ICYM Kolalgiri.

The ceremony commenced by singing "Vande Mataram" in the presence of assistant priest Fr Godwin Pinto, who hoisted the national flag and gave an important message about ‘Freedom Fight’.

Vice president of parish pastoral council Helen Fabiana D’Souza, youth animator Br Peter Periera and ICYM coordinator Wilma Baretto among others were present on the occasion.
