Los Angeles, Aug 16 (IANS): While she is prepping herself for her new film, Hollywood actress Shailene Woodley is also planning to donate her hair to an organisation that provides human hair replacements to kids.
The 21-year-old will be seen playing a cancer patient, who falls in love with a fellow patient, in director Josh Boone's romantic drama "The Fault in Our Stars".
The film is based on the novel of the same name by author John Green.
Woodley has pledged to donate her hair to Children with Hair Loss, an organisation that offers assistance in the form of hair replacement to children under the age of 21 years, according to a post on Green's tumblr.com page.
"I want to be clear that this was entirely Shai's idea. (I don't even think the studio knows about it.) I hope if you're able, you'll consider joining Shai in donating. Thanks!" Green said in her post.
