Udupi: ‘Muddu Krishna’ fancy dress contest concludes

Udupi, Aug 19: “This programme which recalls the childhood pranks of Shri Krishna also creates religious awareness among children,” said T Raghavendra Rao, administrator, Mahathobara Shankarnarayana Temple.

He was speaking after inaugurating the ‘Muddu Krishna’ fancy dress programme jointly organized by Shri Mahathobara Shankarnarayana Temple, Rotary Malpe Kodevooru, and Sarvajanika Ganeshostava Committee at Vasantha Mantapa Convention Hall on Sunday August 18.



On this occasion, Dakshina Kannada Milk Producers’ Union president Raviraj Hegde, Rotary assistant Governor Mahesh Kumar M, Rotary president Poornima Janardhan, Rathnakar Amin, president of Sarvajanika Ganeshostava  committee, Shrinivas Bhat, former president of Rotary Kalyanpura, Rotary secretary Janardhan Kodevooru, Dr Vidhyadar Shetty, Harish Kodevooru, and Sathish Kodevooru were present.

Padmalathavishnu Bhat, Sudha Vijay Raghavan, and Ashok Kundar were present as judges at the competition.
