Kundapur, Aug 21: A school bus and a car met with an accident here on Wednesday August 21 afternoon near Tallur.
The car driver escaped with minor injuries. The Santro car belongs to Shashidhar Hemmadi, president of the press club at Kundapur.
He was driving on his way home from Kundapur to Hemmadi. The school bus was travelling in the opposite direction and towards Kundapur.
When school bus tried to overtake the car, the driver lost control and hit the car from the opposite direction. The bus driver has been identified as Narashima Mogaveera.
Shashidhar Hemmadi who incurred with hand and leg injuries was immediately taken to a private, hospital in Kundapur.
A case is yet to be registered at the Kundapur Traffic police station.
