Udupi, Aug 26: Members of Sangha Parivar protested here against blocking of Chaurasi Kosi Parikramana march and arrests of Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s Pravin Togadia and Singhal in Uttar Pradesh.

The protest was held in front of Manipal’s Rajatadri on behalf of Sangha Parivar on August 26, 2013.

VHP’s Suprasad Shetty addressed the protesters and said the government has stopped the yatra, even though there was no objection from others for it.  Decrying the arrest of Pravin Togadia and Singhal, he said that the government has indulged in vote bank politics just to please 18% muslims.

Sangha Parivar’s Subrahmanya Holla, Shambhu Shetty, Narayan Maniadi among others were present.
