M'lore: J R Lobo inaugurates light pole at Shaktinagar Church

Mangalore, Sep 1: MLA J R Lobo inaugurated the high mast light pole installed at Mother of God Church, Mariagiri in Shaktinagar on Sunday September 1. The high mast light pole was given by Mangalore City Corporation.

J R Lobo and local corporator Akhila Alva were also felicitated on the occasion by the Church committee.

Addressing after receiving the felicitation, Lobo said, “It is my prime duty to hear the grievances of the public and solve their problems. I will always try to implement better plans for the development of this area with a view to make it a better town.”

Akhila Alva also spoke on the occasion and promised to solve all the issues at the earliest.

He further visited the Nejiguri Anganavady center Shaktinagar, where he inaugurated the TV that was donated by Baptist D’Souza and also planted a sapling it the Anganavady surrounding.

Fr J B Crasta, Fr Walter D’Souza, Dennis Machado, Baptist D’Souza, T K Sudhir, Shailesh Alva among others were present.
