Udupi, Sep 1: “Let the public enjoy all the facilities of the government,” said K Jayaprakash Hegde after the inaugural ceremony of the office of MLA Pramod Madhwaraj on Saturday August 31 at Brahmavar Varamballi panchayat.

“As tenders for development projects are to be called for from the district level, misuse of funds can be stopped. The central government has also passed the food security bill recently. There has been tremendous development and change in the encroachment of farmers’ land,” he added.

“Plans have been made to solve the traffic issues of Brahmavar area by the implementation of National Highway four lane work. I will hold a meeting with the higher officials and see through it that the issues are solved at the earliest,” added Hegde.

“Brahmavar is a rural area and much of the amount from the MLA’s fund will be given to the panchayats of this region,” said MLA Pramod Madhwaraj. “At present, the procedures of transfer from APL to BPL have been simplified. Thus, people should make right use of it,” he urged.
