Bantwal, Sep 2: Cases have been booked against 19 persons in connection with the clashes that erupted between a Hindu outfit and Om Shakti Friends Club recently at Kalladka.
As per the complaint filed by Shrikanth, a member of Om Shakti Friends Club, cases have been booked against Jayaram Gowda, Mahabala Shetty, Amith, Naveen, Ravi Ballekodi, Yatin, Pushpa Kudrebettu, Sandesh Shetty and Mithun.
Similarly, a counter case has been filed by Vasu who is a member of the Hindu outfit.
Cases are filed by him against the members of Om Shakti Friends Club, namely Santhosh, Karunakar Shetty, Kiran Amtoor, Mohan Das, Ratnakar Shetty, Sundar, Ramakrishna, Dinesh, Ravi Bhandary, Karunakar Poojary.
The attack on Jayaram Gowda was said to be the main reason for the clash between the two groups, confirmed a police source.
