Mangalore, Sep 3: The vice-president of Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat Rithesh Shetty inaugurated the Mangalore taluk level ‘Dasara’ sports and ‘Paika’ games at Mangala Stadium, Mangalore.
In the inaugural address, he said that we have a lot of budding sportsmen in Dakshina Kannada district who need to be supported. Shetty wished good luck to all the athletes and gave them a call to participate with true sportsmanship spirit.
Mangalore Taluk Panchayat president Harish Kumar presided over the function.
ZP members Asha R Suvarna, Yashanti R Alva, and corporator Jayanti R were present on the occasion.
The event was organized by Zilla Panchayat, Taluk Panchayat, and department of sports, Mangalore Taluk.
