Mangalore, Sep 3: Konkani Natak Sabha organized ninth inter parish biblical theme skit competition at Don Bosco Hall, here, on Sunday September 1.

Four parishes namely Paldane, Cordel, Vamanjoor and Permannur under Mangalore Diocese participated in the competition.

Paldane Parish bagged the first place while Permannur Parish second place and Cordel Parish third place.

Fr Francis Rodrigues, Carmelita D’Souza and Daya Victor Lobo were the judges for the competition.

President Fr Peter Cyprian D’Souza welcomed the gathering. Convenor Martin D’Souza compered the programme and introduced the judges. General secretary Sunil Menezes proposed the vote of thanks. Convenor Gretta Rebello announced the results.

The prize distribution ceremony of all the competitions will be held on Saturday September 21 at 6 pm and 70th annual day celebration will be held on Sunday September the 29 at 5.30 pm at Don Bosco Hall, here with a Konkani social comedy play ‘Utre Uzwadle’ written by Pradeep Barboza, Paladka.
