Mangalore, Sep 4: "As the name of BJP publicity campaign committee president and Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi gets increased publicity every day, the heartbeats of congress national and state leaders and the confusion among them has increased," stated BJP spokesperson K Monappa Bhandary in a press statement.

"Congress leaders are giving a statement that the name of Modi is ineffective and BJP is facing difficulty after declaring him as the president of BJP publicity campaign committee.  On the other hand when they are comparing Narendra Modi to their own leaders, one can guage how far Modi has influenced Congress," he said.

Higher education and Tourism minister R V Deshpande has stated that BJP loses wherever Modi goes.

Nationwide campaigns such as Namo Brigade and Namo brothers started by the youth to project Narendra Modi as the next prime minister hoping for a stable country, has made Congress lose their sleep as a result of which Congress is giving statements like those.

"R V Deshpande’s ‘the statement of these is disastrous to them’ statement applies to Congress and not for BJP," he said.
