Karkala: Felicitation and farewell to outgoing taluk panchayat CEO

Karkala, Sep 4: Rajendra Bekal, who has worked as Karkal Taluk panchayat CEO for the last seven years got transferred recently.  Bekal was felicitated for having promoted as an official of Udupi Women and Children welfare department.  It was also a farewell programme as he was getting transferred.

MLA V Sunil Kumar felicitated Rajendra Bekal with a Shawl, Peta and fruits. He said that social justice and sincerity has brought Bekal to these heights.

Bekal spoke responding to the wishes and said that Taluk panchayat got an award due to cooperation from the staff.

Taluk panchayat president Rashmi Shetty, Udupi Zilla panchayat social justice committee president Udaya S Kotian, Zilla panayat members Mamatha Adhikari, Savitha S. Kotian, Taluk panchayat CEO Chennappa Moily, Udupi Zilla grama panchayat workers society president Shekhar Nayak, Tahsildar Nirmala Devi, Taluk panchayat vice president Jayavarma Jain, standing committee president Praveen Salian, Taluk Panchayat former president Vikram Hegde, ex vice president Ravindra and others were present.
