Bantwal, Sep 4: In an election held for office bearers for Cheloor milk producers Cooperative society in July, 2013, eight directors were elected unopposed.

In the election for president and vice president held on September 3, Sanjeeva Bangera is elected as the president and Violet Vas is elected as vice president unanimously and unopposed.
 
Bantwal Taluk assistant tahsildar Kishore Kumar K acted as the election officer for the elections.
