Bantwal: Man attacked by a group with lethal weapons

Bantwal, Sep 4: A group of people arrived in an auto rickshaw and attacked a man on his hand with lethal weapons, causing grave injuries.

The incident took at Edeshwalya in Bantwal rural police station limits on Tuesday September 4.

Prakash, a prominent person among one of the youth groups was the victim of the attack. Few of the locals namely Tharanath and others were alleged as the attackers.

As per the information obtained, on September 1 during Mosaru Kudike celebration, there was argument between Tharanath and Prakash during which Tharanath threatened to kill him.

On Tuesday around 8:30 am when Prakash was going towards his shop at Perlapu, he was attacked by a group with deadly weapons on his hand and other body parts, stated a complaint.
