Mangalore: St Aloysius PU College hosts Musical Day

Mangalore, Sep 17: The `Musical Day 2013’ of St Aloysius PU College was celebrated with great pomp and fervor on September Monday 16 at Loyola hall.

The formal programme was presided over by the Rector of St Aloysius College Institutions Fr Denzil Lobo SJ. The rector in his message said that music and fine arts must we included as a curriculum. He also presented a melodious rendition of Spanish song.

The chief guest of the programme Fr Jayaprakash D’ Souza, principal of Sandesha College of Fine Arts spoke about the true meaning of music.

The principal Fr Elvis C Lewis SJ also inspired the students with his message on music.

The convener of the Musical Day Denzil Mchado proposed the vote of thanks.

The programme was compered by Lavita Fernandes of II PUC.

The programme continued till the evening with lots of singing, dancing, music and the baila dance which was like an icing on the cake from the students of PUC.
