Carey Mulligan to star in book adaptation


London, Sep 17 (IANS): British actress Carey Mulligan will play a key role in a new movie adaptation of Thomas Hardy's novel "Far From The Madding Crowd", reports femalefirst.co.uk.

She will play Bathsheba Everdone.

The other cast members include Belgian actor Matthias Schoenaerts, Tom Sturridge and Michael Sheen.

The film will be shot in locations across Britain - Dorset, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and London. It will be directed by Danish filmmaker Thomas Vinterberg.
