Harewood disappointed after 'Homeland' exit

London, Sep 23 (IANS): Actor David Harewood was upset when his character in TV series "Homeland" was dramatically killed.

Harewood played Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) officer David Estes in the show for two seasons.

"Suddenly getting blown up in the middle of all that success was somewhat disappointing," said the 47-year-old.

"I suppose having spent so long climbing the ladder, then to get to a point of recognition and to have the thing you associate with that success taken away... well in a sense, this is a very reflective period for me right now," Britain's Sunday Express quoted Harewood as saying.
