Udupi: Jaycee week concludes at Santhekatte

Udupi, Sep 26: Junior Chamber International Kallianpur, (Zone XV /Area E / Region B) conducted Jaycee Week Celebration – 2013 in Santhekatte from September 15 to September 21.

Jerry Vincent Dias, promoter of Mandavi Builders, inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. Raghupathi Bhat, former MLA Udupi, Allan Rohan Vaz, former zonal president, Chandrasekhar Nayar, zonal program coordinator, Ram Poojary, president Rotary Club, Kallianpur, Mithra Kumar, president JCI Santhekatte, were present on the occasion.













During the seven days of program, JCI Kallianpur zone conducted various programs. Programs like JC Puthani Raja Rani for children, super Jodi, musical show from Annapooneshari Blind Association, Shrishi, were conducted.

The valedictory ceremony of JC week was held on Saturday September 21. MLA Pramod Madhawaraj inaugurated the valedictory function. Shreenath Bangera, Chandrakanth Nayak, Janadhana Thonse among others were present on the occasion.

Vijay Kumar Shetty, former president, JCI Kallianpur was honoured with Kamala Pathra Award. Kumari Neeveditha Bhat was honoured with Kala Shree Award while Veejedra Kamata Kallianpur was honoured with Shramajeevi Award.
