Kasargod, Sep 27: A bandh was observed on Badiadka-Mulleriya road here on Thursday September 26, protesting against the pathetic condition of the road.  All vehicles including buses came to a standstill.

The protest was held under the leadership of people's road development action committee.

The protest was for not having sanctioned grant for repairs of 29 km-long Kumble-Mulleriya road and for not repairing it.

The grant for Kumble-Badiadka road was approved a year ago but repairs have not started. So the condition of road has gone from bad to worse and has become unfit for transport.

A rally was held in the morning in protest. Traders and Vyapari Vyavasayi Ekopana Committee, Mulleriya have supported the protest.
