Udupi: Illegal slaughter house raided, three arrested

Udupi, Sep 30: Kaup police on Sunday September 29 morning raided an illegal slaughterhouse which was functioning from several years and arrested three persons.

The arrested have been identified as Hajjabba, his son Abdul Rahiman and son-in-law Abdul Khadar.

The police seized three cattle which were killed for flesh. Nearly 400 kg of meat and weapons used were also seized. The cost of the meat is estimated at around Rs 12,000.

A case has been registered in Kaup police station. Investigation is on.

    People should avoid buying meet from illegal slaughterhouse. Hygiene should be considered to safeguard any health issues.
    Shockingly, 400kg of meat only for 12000 rupees???
