Mangalore, Oct 1: ‘Chonda Ani Gorbh’, a collection of short stories by prominent writer Kevin D’Mello Karkal was released during the ‘Okhil Bharat Konknni Lekhok Sommell’ held at Kalaangan on September 29.
The book published by Shrajana publication was released by senior poet Vally Vagga along with other dignitaries.
Jagotik Konknni Songhotton office bearers Tomazino Cardoz, Eric Ozario, Roy Castelino, Fr Pratap Naik, Joseph Salvadore, Ancy Paladka, Maccha Milar, Lolita D’Mello, Vitori Karkal on behalf of Shrajana publication among others shared the dais.
From the past thirty years, Kevin D’Mello has been known for his unique Konkani writing. The ‘Chonda Ani Gorbh’ book consists of 14 stories. This is the second book of Shrajana publication and the cover design of the book is done by artist Wilson Kayyar. The book which comprises of 160 pages is priced at Rs 100.
