Creating more roads to every corner of the country is appreciated. Apart from roads, Mangalore city need a systematic garbage clearing mechanism. Increasing numbers contentious diseases in the city where spread through notorious mosquitoes.
Most of the Mangalorean’s feel that elected representatives and authorities need to focus on hygienic issues which is imperative to healthy society.

Mr lobo . Do something about the street vendors who put their stalls ( tobacco, food stalls, pani puri and flowers) anywhere as they want . Earlier it was only in hampankatta area . now they are everywhere . One can see the nuisance they create by depriving us of pavements and right to park our vehicles . See the stretch of road between ksrtc to kapikad , front of bharat mall and also in front of pabbas ...I suggest the authorities to act fast before it is too late

    like the aggregate- cement ratio-

The initiative is right, but Mr. JLR Lobo, please stop concretising roads. The weight of the concrete with steel is too much for the land to bear & causes the land beneath it to sink. See the access road to the airport. Also the tyres get worn out faster, making accidents more frequent. Please check with MRPL, they produce bituminous tar and if the roads are prepared well, then no maintenance is required for at least 7 years. And they are immune to rain water. STOP concretising roads.

Good Roads - is the need of the day. It was seen that the Corporation had undertaken road repairs for the motorists. However the need of the day is to help the common man. The City of Mangalore is not provided with good foot paths and many people tend to walk on the roads thus endangering their lives.

Mr. J.R. Lobo is a person for the common man and we can be sure that he will prioritize constructing good foot paths for the pedestrians thus fulfilling a long felt need.

Please provide footpath to walk from St. Agnes college to Bendoor well. It is frightening to walk from St. Agnes college to St. Theresa's convent. Vehicles come with full speed and the gutter is very deep and dangerous.

Unlike other politicians, Mr.J.R.Lobo has proved himself that he is a man of quick action.I would be very grateful to him if he could break a coconut and initiate the drainage work at Ujjody area(behind Metroof Industies)at the earliest. We have Mrs. Asha D'Silva, a very dynamic Corporator, who is also known for her good work.I would appreciate if the Corporator could take the matter to Mr.J.R.Lobo and do the needful to the residents of Ujjody.

Name Mr. J R LOBO to be interpreted for Action, a MLA with proven great track records.

Alas ! Anybody can take this as a Warning that ALL promises that Mr. Lobo had given prior to election for sure he will fulfill them all in much in advance, one and half year prior to the next election but not like other leaders who complete their projects just prior to election with eye on votes. As days passing by, watch and see foot steps of this honest secular person before jumping to any rash conclusion... for a lesson to be taken ! I

It is heartening to note that JRL has taken the initiative to concreting the road at Bajal. From the day one of his being elected as MLA he has taken lots of interest in his constituency. Being a task master, we are sure that the face of Mangalore will definitely change for the better. There are lots of things yet to be done for improving standard of our city and tourist attraction.
