Variety key for Sidharth


Mumbai, Oct 15 (IANS): Model-turned-actor Sidharth Malhotra is choosing his roles meticulously, making sure he has enough variety in his filmography.

After featuring in a love triangle in Karan Johar's "Student Of The Year", he will be seen as a boy-next-door in romantic comedy "Hasee Toh Phasee". His third project will be action drama "The Villain", in which he plays a negative part.

It seems that the Delhi boy wants to show all his colours on the big screen.

Unveiling of 'Boss' poster postponed

Bollywood's 'khiladi' Akshay Kumar was scheduled to unveil the world's largest poster of his movie "Boss" in Mumbai Tuesday, but the event had to be postponed due to "logistical issues".

The new event schedule is likely to be announced soon, said a source.

The poster is 193 feet and one inch wide and 180 feet and two inch tall. It has entered the Guinness World Records for being the world's largest poster.

Akshay was to unveil the special poster at the Andheri Sports Complex in the presence of his fans.

Created by a group of Akshay's fans called Team Akshay, it was first unveiled at the Little Gransden Airfield, Britain, Oct 3. It took the team four months to prepare the poster.

"Boss", releasing Wednesday, is an action drama directed by Anthony D'Souza.

Luv's love for mother

For his mother Poonam Sinha's birthday recently, actor Luv Sinha made sure that he did something really special for her. He made it extra special by flying in one of her old friends, whom she hadn't met in five years.

After having mulled over various ideas for weeks, Luv came up with this idea. He managed to fly down his mother's best friend, who is settled in London, said a source close to the actor.

Poonam met her during a surprise dinner Oct 9, a day before her birthday.

Family values have been a virtue in the Sinha household, which comprises Shatrughan and Poonam with their children - Luv, Kush and Sonakshi.
