No celebrity ego in L.A, says Shekhar Kapur


Mumbai, Oct 25 (IANS): Filmmaker Shekhar Kapur, who is currently holding audition for his film "Paani" in Los Angeles, says irrespective of the level of stardom, an artist is never shy to audition in the US city.

"Full day of auditions for 'Paani' in L.A. Range of talent in young actresses is quite amazing and even the biggest stars are not shy of auditioning," Kapur posted on Twitter Friday.

To be made under the Yash Raj Films banner, the film stars Sushant Singh Rajput and is based on a future world where wars over water have broken out. The film's cast will have both Indian and western actors.

"Paani" goes on floors in mid-2014.

'Satya 2' delayed due to issues between producer-director

In light of the recent delay in the release date of "Satya 2", Ram Gopal Varma has confirmed that it was due to some issues between the filmmaker's team and one of the film's producers, Arun Sharma of L.R. Active.

Varma took to Twitter to clarify this delay.

"Media wrongly speculating on my tweet on L.R Active... By issues I meant as internal issues between my staff and his... nothing else," he posted on the microblogging site Friday.

"Satya 2" stars newcomers Puneet Singh, Anaika Soti and Aradhana Gupta and will release Nov 8.

Alia wishes mom happy birthday!

Actress Soni Razdan turned 51 Friday and her actress-daughter Alia Bhatt took out time from her busy schedule to make the day special for her mother.

Alia took to Twitter to wish her star mom and talk about the value she holds in her life.

"Happy birthday to the most beautiful girl in the world, Soni Razdan, wouldn't be in one piece without you... I love you mummy," Alia posted Friday.

Soni has been seen in films like "Saaransh" and "Monsoon Wedding".
