London, Oct 25 (IANS): Television presenter Coleen Rooney is trying to protect her house from spiders by planting conker plants around the house.
The plant scares the spiders away and Coleen is being cautious in the wake of so many spider bites news.
"Coleen has put them everywhere she can think of. She's been taught the old-fashioned method that conkers scare away spiders," dailystar.co.uk quoted a source as saying.
Coleen is married to footballer Wayne Rooney and has two sons -- Kai, 3 and five-month-old Klay.
"Wayne doesn't really see the point, but is letting her get on with it," said a source.
