Mumbai, Nov 4: Released on Friday, Krrish 3 seems to have become an instant hit just like its predecessors - Koi Mil Gaya (2003) and Krrish (2006).
The movie has had collections amounting to Rs 72.7 crore - including its collections in its dubbed versions of Telugu and Tamil. It began counting its success with Rs 25.20 crore on its opening night and went on to pull in Rs 23.20 crore on Saturday and Rs 24.30 crore on Sunday.
The third part of the story of the superhero Krrish sees him fight a deadly virus that effects humans (maanav) and infusing them with animalistic attributes (jaanvar), thus forming deadly creatures called Maanvars. With the sutry Priyanks Chopra by his side Hrithik Roshan takes on the negative characters played by Vivek Oberoi and Kangana Ranaut.
Goddess Lakshmi seems to have bestowed her blessings on the Roshan family production this Diwali.
