Daijiworld Media Network - Entertainment

Mumbai, Nov 5: Having brought in over 30 crores on its first day, Krrish 3 seems to be gaining momentum as the days go by. It raked in 72 crore rupees on its first weekend and on the following Monday, 4 November 2013 it had recorded collections of Rs 35 crore thus surpassing the collections of Chennai Express.

The movie is being speculated to bring in more within the week with the estimations churning out figures to the amount of 130-150 crore rupees.

If the movie lives up to these predictions, it will be the second movie this year to cross the 200 crore mark as did Chennai Express. Allegedly costing 120 crores to make, the film seems to be reaping a healthy reward for its producers. Multi Screen Media bought its satellite rights for Rs38 crores.

Opening on a weekend and that too one of Diwali in India the movie seems to have cashed in on the festive mood of the grand occasion.
