Mumbai, Nov 7: Audience will once again get to relish scriptwriter duo Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar as they come together for the trailer launch of the remake of their own classic work Sholay, namely Sholay 3D, on Thursday.
Commercially and critically successful, the pair worked together until 1982 and walked away with 6 Filmfare Awards during their partnership. Through the time that they worked together they gave the audiences amazing movies such as 'Sholay' and 'Deewar' along with the manifestation of Amitabh Bachchan as an angry young man.
The legendary movie that had Amitabh and Dharmendra in its original version and was once before redone by Ram Gopal Verma as Ram Gopal Verma ki Aag, has now been reworked into a 3D format. It is expected to be released on January 3.
